Subscription conditions
The duration of the contract is one year. The subscription renews each year.
The subscription is paid yearly and the cost is 4,500 euros with VAT included.
Yes, provided there are places available. The subscription corresponds to a calendar year from the time the contract is signed.
Yes, before signing the contract, an initial basic training is carried out so you can get to know the boat with one of our skippers. After the training and preparation for using the boat, the definitive contract will be signed.
Apart from the yearly fee, the member will pay a deposit of 500 euros which will be returned at the end of the contract if no issues have occurred. If you want to use the boat for recreational fishing, you must pay an additional amount of 150 euros for the cost of the license and extra cleaning.
No, the concepts of co-ownership or timeshares are associated with many complications, so the members of our club do not share ownership of the boats. They simply enjoy sailing flexibly and without any commitments or worries.
Fuel consumption is paid for by each of the members. In the case of motor boats, they are handed over with a full tank of fuel and should be returned full.
You must have a relevant qualification to be able to skipper the chosen boat. If you do not hold one, Sea Rent offers you the opportunity to achieve the qualification through one of our Associated Schools, with special training using our boats.
No, but if you don’t have the necessary experience and/or knowledge to operate the boat safely, we advise you to take one of our training programs.
Yes, there can be a maximum of up to 2 members, the main member and an authorized member, provided both have the necessary qualifications and experience.
Boat maintenance and costs
Sea Rent Club takes care of all of the tasks associated with the maintenance of the boat, which is done comprehensively and professionally by qualified staff. The member is only obliged to report any anomaly he/she observes as soon as possibl
Sea Rent Club cleans the boat before the member uses it. Members are only responsible for basic care after each use (leave the boat tidy and without any rubbish and washing down).
Staff from Sea Rent Club will perform the Check-in before the member uses the boat and the member will sign to give their approval. Upon return, the Check-out will be performed to check the condition of the boat.
The member is responsible for the boat and its crew while sailing. However, for their peace of mind, Sea Rent Club offers its members an all-inclusive insurance with excess and a public liability policy. The member will take responsibility for all costs that are not covered by the all-inclusive insurance taken out using the deposit paid at the start of the contract.
How the Club works
Yes, the boat is available for our members to enjoy all year round, except during the dates set aside to carry out a thorough maintenance program and yearly grounding.
Each boat is used by a maximum of 9 main members.
Each member has unlimited sailings all year round according to availability. During the months of June, July and August, members have 6 sailings per month: 2 weekend sailings (from Friday to Sunday) and 4 mid-week sailings (from Monday to Thursday). Each day consists of 2 sailings: morning, 09.00 / 13.00 and afternoon-evening, 14.00 / 18.00 In summer, morning 09.00 / 14.00 and afternoon-evening, 15.00 / / 20.00 Bookings are made through a simple and fast online booking system. Members can book 3 sailings simultaneously.
Yes, you can book additional sailings provided there is availability. To calculate the price of the additional sailing, the current hire free for Sea Rent boats will be used as a reference and a 40% discount will be applied to that amount. If there is no availability for the boat allocated to the Club, it will be possible to use another boat with the same characteristics, provided there is availability.
The online booking system is very simple and completely flexible. It allows you to make bookings up to six months in advance and a minimum of 24 hours before the sailing time. The system allows you to make up to 3 simultaneous bookings.
Yes, our system allows you to re-plan the use as many times as you like, and cancel or change bookings 48 hours in advance, without losing any sailing or any penalties of any kind, provided there is availability. To help you in your planning, the system will send you regular reminder emails.
